Aaron Schunk put UGA up early with a two run homer in the first inning, setting the tone early for Clemson and Georgia’s annual renewal of the rivalry. Cam Shepard tacked on another pair of runs for the Bulldogs in the fourth off of a two run double. Clemson freshman DH Davis Sharpe continues to grow his reputation of #pitcherswhorake by ripping a solo homer in the fifth. Jordan Greene came just shy of a two run shot in the eight, but was at least able to bring in one run with a sacrifice fly. Logan Davidson scored in the ninth off a Grayson Byrd fielders choice, but the Tigers couldn’t muster up anymore runs, losing the first game of the two game series vs UGA.
