CLEMSON —After being on the road for the last two weekends, the Clemson Baseball team returns to Doug Kingsmore Stadium this week.
The Tigers are fresh off a weekend sweep of Cal that saw Erik Bakich’s team move up to No. 4 in the latest D1 Baseball rankings. Clemson comes in at 30-5 overall and 9-3 in ACC play, which is good for first place in the conference standings.
The Tigers’ pitching staff helped lead the charge in the weekend sweep, holding the Bears to just 10 total runs across the three-game series.
“Tough to sweep, tough to win on the road, and our guys earned a hard-fought sweep this weekend against a really good Cal team,” Bakich said.
