CLEMSON — It was a rough day at the ballpark for No. 4 Clemson.

Stanford snapped the Tigers’ 8-game win streak, as well as its own 11-game losing streak in ACC play, with an 11-6 victory at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Sunday.

The Cardinal (19-14, 6-12 ACC) was 8 of 17 with two outs on Sunday. Six of their 11 runs came with two outs. They finished the game with 14 hits.

Clemson (33-6, 11-4 ACC) won the three-game series thanks to victories on Friday and Saturday night. One of the reason for the Tigers’ loss was their inability to pick up runners with two outs and in scoring position.
