Askew on commitment: ‘I felt like it was a second home’

After visiting Clemson on Saturday and receiving an offer from Clemson, Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern High 2018 left-handed pitcher Keyshawn Askew announced a verbal commitment to head coach Monte Lee and the Tigers on Tuesday evening.

“Well first I called coach Lee and he was extremely excited,” Askew told The Clemson Insider. “The reason I decided to commit to Clemson is because I felt like it was a second home. The coaching staff treated my family and I with great respect, and it just felt like the best fit for me.”

Askew chose Clemson over North Carolina and Tennessee.
