AP Top 25 Crowns A New No.1 Team

After nine consecutive weeks (ten if you count preseason) in the No.1 spot, Ohio State has finally been usurped by the Clemson Tigers in the AP Top 25 poll.

Clemson beat a then-ranked #17 FSU team 23-13 to claim the top spot and continue its torrid season. The Tigers were also ranked #1 in the first college football playoff poll on Monday. It’s the first time Clemson tops the AP list in 34 years.

Ohio State, Alabama and Baylor round out the top four. Alabama made a four-spot jump after beating LSU who dropped to the ninth spot.
