Ammon Lakip Suspended Three Games

According to TigerNet, Dabo Swinney announced today that Ammon Lakip will be suspended for the first three games of the season. Walk-on Greg Huegel was named the starter.

Lakip's suspension length was finally announced and it will be of appropriate length - three games. In fact, if there was more confidence in the back-up kickers, I wouldn't have blamed Coach Swinney if it was even longer. Lakip will miss the Louisville game and then have the bye week to compete with Greg Huegel for the starting spot.

After watching the O-line struggle in short yardage situations, having a black hole at kicker could cost the Tigers a win.
