Clemson CB Amir Trapp will be transferring from Clemson to continue his playing career elsewhere. Coach Swinney confirmed the news with TigerNet today and wished Trapp well despite his disappointment that Trapp did not remain with the Tigers.
No word has come down on where Trapp might end up, but coming out of high school the son of former Clemson player James Trapp had an offer from Gardner-Webb and interest from Furman and Costal Carolina. It will be interesting to see if he sticks with an FBS team or decides to go the FCS route to finish out school.
