Cartersville (Ga.) five-star quarterback Trevor Lawrence knew about a week before he committed to Clemson on Dec. 15 that it is the right school for him.
“Everybody there, the people there and the vibe that you get there, it felt like home,” Lawrence said at The Opening Charlotte regional last weekend. “I knew that was the place for me.”
Asked what stands out most to him about Clemson, Lawrence couldn’t pinpoint just one thing.
“The people there, they’re great, and the facility is obviously great,” Lawrence said. “They’ve got everything there that I want, so it’s awesome.
