Aamir Simms, a junior small forward from The Blue Ridge School in Virginia, picked up an offer from Clemson earlier this month.
The four-star prospect is a high school teammate of Clemson’s lone 2016 commitment, three-star small forward Scott Spencer. Though Simms and Spencer have joked about being a package deal to the next level, the conversation has never moved above the level of playful chatter.
Clemson’s staff would welcome the opportunity for the two teammates to reunite at the college level. Brad Brownell offered Simms a few days after he accepted Spencer’s commitment.
