Ben Boulware, B.J. Goodson, Stephone Anthony…just a short list of successes Clemson has had at linebacker over the last several years. They were all the leaders of the defense, and losing Boulware this coming season, Clemson will find another to lead what looks to be yet again one of the top defenses in the country.
As the Tigers begin to shop around for future linebackers to lead the defense, there are many promising prospects, including 2019 middle linebacker Trevon Salter.
Although he’s only a rising junior, Salter could be the next Tiger from the Grayson (Ga.) pipeline that includes Wayne Gallman, Ryan Carter and incoming freshman Chase Brice.
