Sam Keating felt Clemson was the place he needed to be.
On Tuesday, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed pitcher from Fort Myers-Canterbury (Fla.) committed to play college ball for Monte Lee.
“It just felt like home and everything felt great to me. They gave me a great scholarship and I felt like I was home there,” Keating told TheClemsonInsider.
Duke, Wake Forest and Florida Gulf Coast also offered.
“Facilities are top-notch. I’m sure they’re up there with the nicest in the country, there’s no doubt. The (Clemson) campus is beautiful. I loved it. It feels like home.
