The 2015 Orange Bowl pits a match-up of top talents going head-to-head as two teams battle it out for a spot in the National Championship. One of the most intriguing things to watch within the game, however, is the Mackenzie Alexander vs Sterling Shepard match-up on the edge.
Sterling Shepard, the wide receiver out of Oklahoma, has caught 79 passes for 1,201 yards and 11 touchdowns in an outstanding season for the Sooners. He will be guarded, most likely all day long, by Clemson corner back Mackenzie Alexander. Last season, the two got into a bit of a scuffle before the game and it was Alexander that ended up winning the war as he completely shut down Shepard, holding him to just one catch for 13 yards all game long.
