The Clemson Tigers defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 37-17 Thursday afternoon to win the 2015 Orange Bowl. With the victory, the Tigers will move on to the National Championship in Glendale, Arizona where they will face the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Tigers trailed 17-16 at the half, but came out with a resurgence in the second half and dominated the Sooners on both sides of the ball. The defense held Oklahoma in check all day on the ground, which was a major key for the game, and the offense began to punch the ball into the end zone instead of settling for field goals.
