March Madness in Clemson is different than a lot of other college schools. While Harvard, Butler, Lasalle, and 65 other schools are taking part in college basketball's biggest event, Clemson nation is looking ahead to the 2013 football season. Now their is Clemson baseball but for the most part its all about spring football practice. It's not about brackets. Instead it's about the offensive and defensive depth charts. Who's starting and who's going to be the backups and major contributors? Tigers aren't looking for a Cinderella run instead looking for breakout players. What redshirt freshman player is going to breakout? Who's going to go from bench warmer to starter? Is their going to be a veteran starter that will lose his spot to a younger player? Will some of those players that haven't lived up to the hype finally breakout? Clemson fans aren't taking any trips to a regional. Clemson fans are making plans as to which road games they are going to make a trip to. Tiger nation isn't making an argunent as to why they will be in the Final Four. They are making the case for why ESPN Gameday should be held at Bowman Field to start the 2013 college football season. While the nations eyes are on the NCAA tournament and waiting to hear "One Shining Moment," Clemson's eyes are on football and waiting to hear "Tiger Rag" win Georgia visits Death Valley to open the season.
