The Clemson Tigers are in the driver's seat in the ACC race, and are looking to continue their undefeated season on the road against Miami on Saturday. Here are three reasons why they'll do just that:
3) Clemson's dominant offense
QB Deshaun Watson gets most of the shine (more on him later), but RB Wayne Gallman, TE Jordan Leggett, and WR's Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, and Charone Peake have kept the Tigers' offense as one of the best in the country. All five guys have the speed and quickness to score on any given play, and they're the biggest reason why Clemson is averaging 35 points per game in 2015.
2) Miami's lackluster rushing attack
Miami's Brad Kaaya is one of the better young QBs in the country, but the 'Canes offense gets stagnant at times because of their running game, which ranks just 103rd in the country. Clemson's defense is one of the more aggressive in the country, and if they can consistently dominate the line of scrimmage like they have all year, Miami will struggle to get anything going on the ground.
1) Deshaun Watson's game-breaking ability
Watson has picked up where he left off last season and is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, passing for 1,410 yards and 14 touchdowns to go along with 234 yards and two more touchdowns on the ground this season. He's already mastered Clemson's spread up-tempo system, and Miami's secondary has struggled all season. Expect another big game from Watson in this one.
