Clemson and Louisville played in one of the games of the year last season.
This year, there was no doubt who the better side was.
#3 Clemson's defense dominated from start to finish, limiting reigning Heisman winner Lamar Jackson as the Tigers rolled to a 47-21 win over the #14 Louisville Cardinals.
Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant, who was making his first career start on the road, outplayed Jackson in this one. He passed for 316 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 26 yards and two more scores to lead the Tigers offense.

Jackson got virtually no help from his Louisville teammates, and while he did finish with three passing touchdowns but through a back-breaking pick six that really broke the game open.

Clemson's defense only allowed Louisville to convert one third down prior to the fourth quarter, showing just how dominant this group was before the backups came in.
The Tigers return home to take on Boston College next week, while Louisville will try to get back on track with a home game against Kent State.
