The Atlanta Braves are signing former Cincinnati Reds outfielder Yasiel Puig, according to multiple reports.

Puig, 29, became a free agent after the 2019 season.
In 100 games for the Reds last season, Puig hit .252 with 22 home runs and 61 RBIs. His batting average in July – .292 – was 100 points higher than his average over the first month of the season – .192.
In 207 plate appearances for the Indians after the Reds sent Puig to Cleveland as part of a three-team trade that brought starting pitcher Trevor Bauer to Cincinnati, Puig hit .
