On Friday, the Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers executed a blockbuster trade that likely improved the Reds' outfield and starting rotation, sending outfielders Yasiel Puig and Matt Kemp, left-handed starting pitcher Alex Wood and utility player Kyle Farmer to Cincinnati for starting pitcher Homer Bailey and minor-leaguers Jeter Downs and Josiah Gray.
The deal earned praise from The Enquirer's John Fay and Paul Daugherty, and many writers outside of Cincinnati liked how it looks for the Reds:
