Wild Wade Davis and all kinds of wayward Wockies pitching allow Reds to complete comeback, win 7-5

Jesse Winker didn’t even start the game, but he collected three hits including the game-winning Winker-Wonker.

Honorable mention to my new favorite Reds back-up catcher Curt Casali, who doubled home a run and scored the tying run in the ninth. He also put down a solid sac bunt in the 11th. Also, HM to Dylan Floro for throwing three scoreless innings in extras to earn the win.

Key Plays

  • To the shock and horror of all, Reds’ pitching gave up a run in the first inning. DJ LeMahieu reached on a error by Alex Blandino and Charlie Blackmon roped a single to right field.
