GOODYEAR, Arizona – The last time Tejay Antone threw in a regular season game for the Cincinnati Reds, manager David Bell called him in from the bullpen. On Sept. 27, the Reds were tied at 1 with the Minnesota Twins when Antone came out for the sixth inning.
Antone pitched 1.2 perfect innings, striking out three batters to help lead the Reds to their last win of the 2020 season.
Consider when Antone entered that game and who followed him out of the bullpen. After the starting pitcher, Antone entered the game and was followed by Amir Garrett and Lucas Sims.
