The Cincinnati Reds traded bullpen mainstay, and left-handed reliever, Amir Garrett for veteran left-handed starting pitcher Mike Minor on Wednesday as the Reds completed their third trade since Sunday.
Minor, 34, joins the Reds as he begins his second season on a three-year deal he signed before the 2021 season with the Kansas City Royals. Minor was an All-Star in 2019 with the Texas Rangers when he had a 3.59 ERA and a 14-10 record.
Minor was in his second stint with the Royals and was coming off an 8-12 season with a 5.05 ERA.
