Every Major League Baseball team has at least one representative at the All-Star Game and Tyler Stephenson was likely the Cincinnati Reds' leading candidate before he broke his thumb earlier this month.
In the league's first All-Star Game voting update, fans agreed with that sentiment. Stephenson ranks fourth among National League catchers with 370,453 votes, which is tops among all Reds position players. Willson Contreras, of the Chicago Cubs, leads all NL catchers with a little more than 800,000 votes and Atlanta's Travis d'Arnaud ranks second with nearly 472,000 votes.
Brandon Drury ranks sixth among NL third basemen with 99,495 votes and Joey Votto is seventh at first base with 83,973 votes.
