Wade Miley pleased with his outing, despite the line, in his Cincinnati Reds debut

PHOENIX – Left-hander Wade Miley’s line was not what you want in your debut with a new team. He allowed three runs and four hits in 1 u2153 innings in the Reds’ 5-4 loss to Milwaukee Brewers. He walked none and struck out two.

All three runs scored on Logan Morrison’s three-run home to right in the first inning.

“I was actually very happy with how the ball was coming out of my hand,” Miley said. “A couple of softer hits, then I made a mistake to LoMo, and he got me. But I was really excited about how the ball was coming out of my hand.
