Sonny Gray threw against live hitters on Tuesday in Goodyear. He hadn’t done that yet this spring as he battles back from some elbow discomfort. Things went well against a few of the minor league hitters that he faced. And now he’ll be returning to the mound to throw a side session tomorrow, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Sonny Gray is scheduled to throw a side session tomorrow. If all goes well, he could start pitching in games afterward. #Reds

Getting Sonny Gray into games soon would be ideal.
