Un4gettable: Scooter Gennett's four-homer anniversary celebrated by Reds

Wednesday marks the first anniversary of Scooter Gennett's improbable four-homer game for the Cincinnati Reds against the St. Louis Cardinals on June 6, 2017, at Great American Ball Park.

Gennett had five hits in five at-bats while driving in 10 runs and playing left field in the Reds' 13-1 win that night. Tim Adleman, Drew Storen and Tony Cingrani were the Reds' three pitchers in the game, with Adleman notching the win. None of the three remain with the team.

It was the first four-homer game by a Red, and the first in Major League Baseball since former Red Josh Hamilton had done it for the Texas Rangers on May 8, 2012.
