Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle looked right at home at Great American Ball Park Saturday afternoon.
Mahle pitched the Reds to a 4-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers before a crowd of 31,156 on a warm day at GABP. Mahle had his best outing the year. He went six shutout innings. He allowed four hits, walked two and struck out five. He threw 98 pitches, 61 of which were strikes.
The victory gives the Reds a shot at a 4-2 homestead with a victory Sunday. They evened the series against the Dodgers after taking two of three from the Chicago Cubs.
