PHOENIX – Manager David Bell thought it was Trevor Bauer’s best start in a Cincinnati Reds uniform. Catcher Tucker Barnhart said it was “elite level” pitch execution.

Bauer has struggled in the second half of the season, but he showed why he’s considered one of the top pitchers in the league Sunday. He allowed four hits and one run across eight innings in a 3-1 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday at Chase Field.
