ATLANTA – When Trevor Bauer threw his first bullpen session with the Reds on Thursday, there was one more player than usual on hand to watch. Catcher Tucker Barnhart couldn’t resist.
“To be honest, I just wanted to watch,” Barnhart said. “I’m excited to catch him. I feel like a little kid on Christmas with a new toy. I just wanted to watch and be around him, get to know him a little bit and mainly introduce myself.
