Travis Jankowski has over three years of big-league service time. So it was a little surprising that the Reds sent him to Prasco Park for spring training 2.0. Of the 22 players at Prasco, maybe one or two will make the 30-man Opening Day roster.
Jankowski, who was obtained by the Reds from the San Diego Padres for international cap space on Oct. 31, was with the big guys at Great American Ball Park on Sunday.
“For me, I just kind of keep half my stuff here and half my stuff at Prasco and find out the night before where I’m going to be,” he said.
