The Good
–It all starts with Mike Leake. Leake took a no-hitter into the sixth; in the end, he tossed seven shutout innings, allowing only two hits while striking out seven Marlins.

–Todd Frazier continued his hot hitting, going 2-4 with a double and a run scored. Tucker Barnhart had the same hitting line. Jay Bruce doubled in two runs and walked.

–JJ Hoover pitched a scoreless eighth inning. Pedro Villareal tossed a scoreless ninth.

–Welcome back, Marlon Byrd. Byrd only had one hit, but it was a solo homer in the first that gave the Reds a lead they would never relinquish.
