Thom Brennaman answered a phone call from The Enquirer Thursday evening, although he declined to say much more than what he provided in a letter to the editor of the publication.
"At this point in time… I just have to make, at this point, no comment about anything," Brennaman said Thursday evening.
He told The Enquirer he would be willing to chat again a day or two after the letter is sent.
Brennaman was suspended from working Reds broadcasts after he used a homophobic slur Wednesday evening on-air during the first game of a Reds-Kansas City Royals doubleheader.
