It remains to be seen what 2018 will bring for the Cincinnati Reds, but it's the time of year for looking back instead of forward. We decided to do that by looking at our most-read Reds stories of 2017.
Some things might surprise you. The Reds made a few trades in 2017 -- saying goodbye to Dan Straily, Brandon Phillips and Tony Cingrani -- but the stories of those moves did not crack the top 10 in terms of readership. Neither did Scooter Gennett's four-homer game, nor Tucker Barnhart's Gold Glove win.
Instead, you were more interested in near-moves, controversies, a couple features and -- oddly -- Joey Votto's Korean nickname.
