As strange as it seems, the Cincinnati Reds (29-35) still have an opportunity to leave Progressive Field on Wednesday afternoon with a winning road trip. After splitting the first two games of the trek in St. Louis, the Reds were fortunate to leave Philadelphia with just one win. Now, the Reds find themselves in Northeast Ohio and have a chance to return home with a hard earned 4-3 road trip.
It’s no secret the Reds have to rely heavily on their pitching due to an inconsistent offense which has struggled to score runs with any semblance of consistency.
