GOODYEAR, Arizona - – Tejay Antone was about to be the first Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher to throw four innings during spring training this year. When he took the mound at the start of the fourth, Antone had already struck out five batters and allowed just one earned run against the San Diego Padres on Sunday.
But after just a few warmup pitches by Antone, second baseman Mike Moustakas called the trainer onto the field to look at Antone. A minute later, Antone left the game with a mild right groin strain.
