GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Tanner Roark tossed five shutout innings, but an eight-run eighth inning doomed the Reds in an 8-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers at a sold-out Goodyear Ballpark. Relievers Anthony Bass and Brandon Finnegan allowed four runs each in the eighth inning.
Yasiel Puig, facing his former team for the second straight day, went 1 for 3 with a run scored in front of 10,766 fans. He doubled in the fourth inning, smacking a ball into deep center field.
