GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Reds had two runners on base without an out in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday but couldn’t plate a run in a 3-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Goodyear Ballpark.
After a sacrifice bunt to put both runners in scoring position, minor leaguer Narciso Crook was caught between third and home on a comebacker to the mound. A flyout to center ended the game.
