If Scott Feldman goes on the disabled list, he will be the last of the Reds’ Opening Day rotation to spend time on the DL after just 92 games of the season.
Feldman, 34, started for the Reds on Opening Day and was the only Reds starter to make every scheduled start since then. A right knee injury limited to him just one inning in Monday’s 6-1 loss to the Nationals and Reds manager Bryan Price said a disabled list stint was probable.
“I think it would be unfair to Scott and to the club to put ourselves in a position where we wouldn’t know for sure what he was going to feel like coming out of the bullpen and go through that,” Price said.
