Major League Baseball agent Scott Boras was asked about Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Trevor Bauer - who has been critical of Boras on social media - during the Big Time Baseball podcast with Jon Heyman and Tony Gwynn Jr.:
"I represent the interest of the players that I work as an attorney for," Boras said. "I don't pay much attention to ... my job is to protect the rights and work for the players that I represent. Knowing that in my history, we've done the first $50-million, $100-million, $200-million, $300-million contracts for starting pitchers, I would say that any pitcher in his right mind would be very, very happy about the work that we've done to benefit players - particularly pitchers.
