Same plot, different ending

Anthony DeSclafani followed up his Reds debut with an impressive start against the Cubs last night, throwing 7 shut-out innings while allowing just two hits and two walks.  And the Reds bullpen (well, Kevin Gregg, again) gave up a two-run home run almost immediately upon entering the game.  But luckily the Reds had broken out a three-run fourth inning against Jake Arrieta and were able to snap their three-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory.

While the story of the game was the start the DeSclafani put together – and his crazy defensive play that involved knocking down a batted ball while losing his glove, but still getting the out at first – it was in combination with one big inning by the bats.
