The Brewers beat the Reds 4-2 on Sunday at Great American Ball Park, handing Cincinnati its first series loss of the season. We’ll have more later, but here are some of the main storylines from Sunday’s game:
Rough debut for Sal Romano: Sal Romano’s debut started out about as good as he could ask for — a 97-mph fastball for a called strike on his first pitch in the big leagues. He followed that with a 98-mph heater that Nick Franklin watched for strike two. He did fall to a full count but got Franklin on a foul tip for a strikeout.
