The Kansas City Royals have an apparent vacancy in center field and have shown interest in former Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton, according to multiple reports via Twitter.
Hamilton became a free agent after the Reds did not offer him a contract before last Friday's non-tender deadline.
MLB.com's Mike Petriello wrote late last week that the Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays are favorite fits for Hamilton.

Hamilton is a five-time finalist for a Rawlings Gold Glove, but he has lost each time - including to the Braves' Ender Inciarte last month.
