Reliever Pedro Strop faces his old teammates in 6-6 Cincinnati Reds-Chicago Cubs tie

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – It was Pedro Strop’s second outing of the spring, but it was the first against his old team, the Chicago Cubs.

So it was a bit different pitching for the Cincinnati Reds in Wednesday's game, which ended in a 6-6 tie.

“It felt so weird, me pitching against them,” Strop said. “They were screaming a bunch of stuff. (Anthony) Rizzo and (Victor) Caratini, the boys in the dugout. ‘Throw the fastball!’ when I threw a slider. It was getting my attention. Usually, I’m really focused and look like I’m really mad. Today, I couldn’t do that.
