The Cincinnati Reds took Hendrick with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2020 Major League Baseball Draft on Wednesday, adding a powerful bat to their farm system. A few of their scouts had an extensive look at him in the four-day East Coast Pro showcase last summer in Alabama.
