MILWAUKEE -- The Reds and Major League Baseball announced Wednesday that Cincinnati will play a two-game series vs. the Cardinals in Monterrey, Mexico, on April 13-14, 2019.
The Reds will be considered the home team for both regular-season games. While it will be both teams' first time playing in Mexico, the Reds previously played an international three-game series vs. the Expos in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 2003.
Estadio de Beisbol Monterrey will host a total of six games in 2019, with the Rockies and D-backs playing a pair of Spring Training games March 9-10 and the Angels and Astros playing two regular-season games May 4-5.
