Right-hander Tim Adleman, who led the Reds in innings in 2017, has signed a one-year deal with the Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization.

Adleman, 30, was 5-11 with a 5.52 ERA in 30 games and 20 starts for the Reds last season. His 122 1/3 innings were the most by any pitcher on the Reds’ injury-riddled staff.

According to Korea’s Yonhap News Agency, Adleman will make $1.05 million in 2018, including a $100,000 signing bonus.

A minor-league free-agent signing by the Reds out of independent baseball in 2014, the Georgetown graduate made his big-league debut in 2016, making 13 starts for the Reds and going 4-4 with a 4.
