Taylor Trammell, one of two Cincinnati Reds prospects playing for the U.S. Team in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, hit a go-ahead home run in Sunday's showcase of top minor-league talent in advance of Tuesday's Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
Trammell lined a solo blast off of Indians prospect Kieran Lovegrove in the bottom of the sixth inning into the right-center seats at Nationals Park to give the U.S. team a 6-5 lead against the World Team. It traveled an estimated 438 feet, and it was the sixth home run of the game.
