From Ken Rosenthal:
#Reds in agreement with free-agent infielder Derek Dietrich on a minor-league contract, pending a physical. Deal includes invitation to major-league spring training and will be worth $2M+ on the major-league side.

Dietrich has been a free-agent after spending his entire 6-year career with the Marlins up to this point. He hit .265/.330/.421 with 16 homers in 551 plate appearances last season, and defensively, saw time in LF, RF, 1B, 2B, and 3B.
Most importantly. he adds another left-handed bench bat to go with whichever of Jesse Winker and Scott Schebler aren’t playing every day.
