Reds' Scott Schebler right fit in right field

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The scouting report on Scott Schebler’s arm wasn’t wrong, he said. It was awful.

“It was bad,” Schebler said. “It was embarrassing at times.”

Schebler is entering his second season in the Reds’ organization, going from an unknown part of the three-team trade that sent Todd Frazier to the White Sox to the Reds’ starting right fielder.

Throwing wasn’t a big part of Schebler’s game coming out of college in 2010. He had a stinger in his shoulder in high school and was just a designated hitter in his one year at Des Moines Area Community College.
