ST. LOUIS -- Two lengthy rain delays during Saturday's Reds game vs. the Cardinals required tedious amounts of waiting. But the outcome -- an 8-2 victory over St. Louis at Busch Stadium -- was more than worth the wait for Cincinnati. The game turned with a four-run top of the seventh inning as the club scored eight unanswered runs.
The Reds snapped a six-series losing streak to the Cardinals by taking the first two games of the three-game set that concludes the first half. They've also won four straight games against their National League Central nemesis after dropping each of the first nine games between the two in 2018.
