CINCINNATI -- Reds center fielder Billy Hamilton is under MLB's concussion protocol, according to manager Bryan Price, after taking a shot to the head as he attempted to steal third base in Wednesday night's 12-7 loss against St. Louis.
Hamilton was not in the starting lineup for Thursday night's series finale against the Cardinals at Great American Ball Park. Tyler Holt started in place of Hamilton.
CINCINNATI -- In a game where offense often ruled the night, the Cardinals pounded out a 12-7 victory over the Reds on Wednesday using four home runs -- including two by Brandon Moss -- and evened the three-game series at one game each.
